 This is the new full sized Avatar Vintage G112 guitar cab. It is a 60's Marshall styled 112 speaker cabinet. It features a slanted front speaker baffle board to point the speaker up slightly towards the player. The construction is voidless Birch Plywood with your choice of tolex, piping, and grill cloth and black strap handle.

It comes with your choice of either the partial open back (as in photo) or the completely closed back panel. If you want both back options, you can buy it with the closed back and pay an extra $49 for the two slats to make it open back. We do not sell a third piece to fill in the open back because the long edges touching each other could make noises when playing loud.

This deluxe cab has a rear metal jack plate with dual 1/4 inch jacks for daisy chaining with other cabs. Switchcraft jacks and thick oxygen free internal speaker wire are standard.

The 12 inch speaker is rear loaded with T Nuts which makes it easy to swap out speakers for tone experimenting. It has been our experience that some of the favorite speakers for this cabinet are the Industry Standard Celestion Vintage 30 at 60 watts for all around great tone.

The 30 watt G12H30 70th Year Anniversary special is also a favorite because it has a big rich warm low end, smooth mids with just a hint of grit when slightly overdriven and nice top end.

The Celestion G12T75 (used in many Marshall cabinets) has lots of crunch, big bass, scooped mids and sizzling highs at 75 watts.

The Celestion Greenback will give this cabinet early cone break up for classic warm low wattage tone at 25 watts.

For fantastic natural sounding high power clean tones, the 80 watt Celestion Classic Lead 80 is the Celestion that most faithfully reproduce your signal rather than to add any color or character to your tone. Great for modeling type amps or situations where you want neutral clean clear reproduction.

For the lower powered  high end boutique tube amps, the Celestion Alnico BLUE has the most wonderful chime and creamy midrange in a 15 watt cab. A lot of guys that have small boutique amps really like the Celestion Blue or the G12H30.

Our Hellatones are also great because the Hellatone 30 is a slightly broken in  Celestion G12H30 and the Hellatone 60 is a slightly broken in Celestion Vintage 30.

With larger amps, the 50 watt Celestion Alnico Gold would be the ultimate speaker for this cab. It is voiced similarly to the 15 watt Alnico Blue with wonderful creamy chime tone but has a higher power capacity.

 You get a One year limited warranty. Guitar cabs are not sold on a trial basis and are not returnable.
