G210 Vintage Custom Cabinet
This is the new full sized Avatar Vintage G210 guitar cab. It is a 60's Marshall styled 112 speaker cabinet. It features a slanted front speaker baffle board to point the speaker up slightly towards the player. The construction is voidless Birch Plywood with black tolex, white piping, black strap handle and grille cloth choices.
It comes with your choice of either the partial open back (as in photo) or the completely closed back panel. If you want both back options, you can buy it with the closed back and pay an extra $49 for the two slats to make it open back. We do not sell a third piece to fill in the open back because the long edges touching each other could make noises when playing loud.
This deluxe cab has a
rear metal jack plate with dual 1/4 inch jacks for daisy chaining with other
cabs. Switchcraft jacks and thick oxygen free internal speaker wire are
standard.
The 10 inch speakers are rear loaded with T Nuts which makes it easy to swap out speakers for tone experimenting. The two tens are offset with one slightly elevated. We have a few choices of quality Celestion guitar speakers to fit your precise tone preferences. The favorite speakers for this cabinet are the Celestion G10 ALNICO 40 watt speakers in an open back. It is clean and clear with that wonderful alnico chime.
The Celestion Greenback 10's have a rich full bottom end , sweet mids and with early cone break up for classic boutique tone.
A favorite two speaker cab is to mix One Gold alnico and one Greenback for half alnico chime and half warm overdrive, and either open back for more mid chime exiting the back of the cab or closed back for thicker bottom end.

The Vintage G210 cab dimensions are 24"W x 20.5"H x 11"D. 3/4 inch Birch Plywood. Weight is approximately 40 lbs depending on speakers.
