these speakers your cab actually has more bass than the closed back 4x12, I
couldn't believe it. I was using an MXR equalizer with the 4x12, I no longer
need it. I will be selling my 4x12 soon and am very psyched to be able to
transport my gear without having to take my pickup to haul the big cab. The
Tolex is heavy duty, the metal handles are a great detail, the workmanship is

This is the Great looking and Great sounding Avatar ® G212H Traditional Custom Guitar amplifier speaker cabinet. The G212H Custom cab is easy and portable and goes great with combo amps, heads and rack systems. Check out the Celestion specs, descriptions and sound samples to help you decide which are the best speakers for your personal requirements. The best is the G212H cab with two Celestion Alnico 50watt GOLDS or 15 watt BLUES. One Alnico Blue and one G12H30 is also very sweet sounding. Both of those two cabs are favorites with guys with high end tube amps. Lately, the popular thing in many of the tone chat rooms, has been to do combos of speakers...and the most popular is to have one Celestion G12H30 Anniversary and one Celestion Vintage30...which is the best of both tone worlds...You are welcome to do any combo of speakers listed.
The tone distinction between open/closed back is that you get a more focused tone and more bottom end in a closed back cab where an open back cab lets the mids and highs from the back of the speaker cones out into the room giving more of a larger spatial quality. The speakers are rear loaded into the cabs.
The cab is constructed of high quality 18mm
voidless 13 PLY Birch plywood. The cab is
built with rabbet and dado interlocking side joints for extreme strength.
It is available with either a
Vintage Wheat fabric grill, Deluxe Vintage
Fender cloth grill, Oxblood grill, Black fabric grill,Black/Silver basket
weave cloth, Black/Gold basketweave cloth.
All guitar cab grills are secured by screws, not cheap velcro. It has two 1/4 inch in/out jacks (for daisy chaining with another speaker cab) mounted on the steel input panel. Available in ONE of the following configurations: 4 ohm mono, 8 ohm mono, 16 ohm mono, 8 ohm stereo, and 16 ohm stereo. It has protective nickel corners and large recessed steel bar handles. The dimensions are 21" H x 28.5" W x 12 " D. Weight is approximately 45-55 lbs depending on speakers. One year limited warranty. See Ordering page.
