Of all of the cab variations that can be made with speakers, covering and grill fabric choices, the favorite custom cab that many players buy is the black tolex cab with one Celestion Vintage 30 and one Celestion G12H30 70th Year Anniversary Special in the 8 ohm mono, 60 watts with the partial open back cab. This cab has it all...great lows from the G12H30, wonderful traditional mids from the V30 and smooth highs from both. It is the hands down favorite for tone.

This 13 ply voidless Baltic Birch cab has rabbett and dado interlocking side joints for extreme strength. It has protective nickel corners, and large recessed steel bar handles. All guitar cab grills are secured by screws, not cheap loose velcro. The cabs have rubber feet but they have been cropped from the photos...but they are there. The speakers are rear loaded with T-Nuts and screws.

G212H DUAL VINTAGE 30 Closed Back

This AVATAR ® G212H Special guitar amplifer speaker cabinet is another favorite with our customers. It has two industry standard 12 inch 60 watt Celestion Vintage 30 guitar speakers in a closed back so it is a perfect 212 cab for guys who like to get real loud with their larger amps. This 120 watt closed back cab allows for more bass response and better control of the bass at higher volumes. The G212H cabs are the subject of many great user reviews on the internet forums such as Harmony-Central.com/Guitar/Data/Avatar.

This cab is constructed of high quality 13 PLY voidless Baltic Birch plywood and has rabbet and dado interlocking side joints for extreme strength. We build these cabs all the same way in a production assembly line so they are only available in black, orange, red tolex cab, closed back with two 16 ohm Celestion Vintage 30s wired in parallel to make an 8 ohm cab. The cab has two in/out jacks on the rear input panel for easy daisy chaining with other speaker cabs. The speakers are rear loaded with T-Nuts and screws. This cab Rocks and no one can offer you a better cab for this low price.
